Welcome back everyone to this new school year.
I hope that the recent Christmas break was one where you were really able to spend some quality time with your children and loved ones. The children returned to school to find 410 helium balloons launching our Term 1 theme: LIFT YOUR LEARNING!
Many children sat in the 'balloon-chair' and imagined their way into another world. Our term theme focus also served as a goal setting time for children as well as a creative writing stimulus. Make sure that you check your child's grade blog for more photos.

⚽ Stage 2 Soccer Gala Day ⚽ Yesterday our Year 3 and Year 4 students proudly represented St Anthony’s at the Stage 2 Boys and Girls Soccer Gala Day. Despite a bit of rain, all teams displayed amazing teamwork, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship throughout the day! 🌧️👏 A big congratulations to: 🥇 Stage 2 Girls Team – 1st place in their pool 🥈 Year 4 Boys Team – 2nd place in their pool Well done to all students who participated – we’re so proud of your efforts on and off the field! 💙⚽🙌 Thank you to the parents who came along and supported the teams on the day – your encouragement and help are always appreciated! 👏👨👩👧👦

♟️ Chess Champions! 🏆 Yesterday, 15 students represented St Anthony's at our second local heat chess competition. Our students played 7 rounds and were very successful! 🥳 🏅 Our school came 1st overall! 🎉 We had some excellent individual results as well: 🥇 Alan (Year 5) 🥈 Dharshan (Year 3) 🥉 Jayden (Year 6) 4️⃣ Aaran (Year 5) 7️⃣ Jasmine (Year 6) 🏅 Yeshe (Year 1) – 1st place under 8 years old! 👏 Congratulations to all students for their incredible efforts and sportsmanship! 🎓 We’re excited to have 10 students representing St Anthony’s in the Semi Finals in Term 3! ♟️🌟
