Our Story
St Anthony's Primary has been serving families in the Toongabbie and Girraween area since 1950. We are a K-6 Catholic school that fosters a strong sense of community and encourages everyone to achieve their full potential.
Our school is a welcoming, safe and innovative learning community for local students and their families. Enrolling at St Anthony's is a chance for your family to be part of our story too!
Principal’s Welcome
Welcome to St Anthony's where your child’s happiness and safety is paramount. Success and happiness go hand in hand and it is very difficult to achieve one without the other. We want our school to be a place that children always want to come to – a place that is motivating, fun, inspiring and safe, where all children experience belonging and connectedness.
Enrolling Now
We warmly welcome new families to join our school community. Enquiries and enrolment applications for all grades are welcome any time of the year, although the main enrolment period is between March and May in the year before your child will start at our school.

Stage 2 Soccer Gala Day
Hi Stage 2 Team,
With the external Stage 2 Soccer Gala Day unfortunately cancelled, we'll be running our ownSt Anthony's Stage 2 Soccer Gala DayonWednesday 6 August.
The event will run for theentire morning session (approximately 9:00 am – 11:00 am)and is astudent-only eventfor all Year 3 and Year 4 students. The aim is to provide every student with the opportunity to participate in a fun, inclusive morning of soccer while building teamwork and house spirit.
Students have been placed into mixed teams across Stage 2 and will compete in a friendly tournament throughout the morning. Teams will earn points towards the overall competition, with a final to conclude the event.
Staffing
- All Stage 2 teachers will be involved in supporting the event unless you are onRFFduring that time.
- Roles will include supervising teams, recording scores and assisting with transitions between games. A brief staff allocation will be provided prior to the day.
- Year 6 students will be chosen to ref all games.
Over the coming days, I'll speak with the students to announce their teams, explain how the day will run and go through expectations around sportsmanship, teamwork and participation.
Thanks in advance for your support. I think it will be a fantastic opportunity for our students to enjoy some healthy competition and make the most of what would otherwise have been a missed experience.
