A welcome message from St Anthony's Principal, Patricia Reilly.
Welcome to St Anthony's Primary where your child’s happiness and safety is paramount.
Success and happiness go hand in hand and it is very difficult to achieve one without the other. We want our school to be a place that children always want to come to – a place that is motivating, fun, inspiring and safe, where all children experience belonging and connectedness. We expect each child to work to their potential, to strive towards their personal best.
St Anthony’s is focused on creating lifelong learners who are well equipped to be problem solvers. Learning at our school is about inquiry, creation, collaboration and fun. We use the tools and technologies of today’s world to enhance what we do and allow our children to more fully engage with the world they live in. Learning is best when it has context and meaning. When done in teams, it allows for greater cognition, depth and application.
Our community is an environment where children and their families are able to experience the love of Jesus. It is a community of diversity and inclusiveness where we value each individual and identify and grow their special gifts and talents. Our school is but one arm of the parish of St Anthony of Padua, where we seek to work closely with our Parish Priest, Fr Joby Kadambattu. Being a part of the parish is an important aspect of being a part of the school community.
I look forward to meeting and working together with you in partnership as part of the St Anthony’s School community.
