Some of our fantastic students volunteer themselves to the amazing called Mini Vinnies.
As part of the Mini Vinnies, they have been working on a project called the group Buddy Bench. The Buddy Bench is where people can sit together and have a conversation.
This meaning behind the Buddy Bench is that a conversation can change anything. This was inspired by staff and students being more aware of a person well being and how positive and negative things can impact that individual.
Our school's Biddy bench has now been completed and is a good reminder of how we can spread the awareness of all forms of wellbeing as well as how the beauty of friendship can help a lot more than we think.

Western Sydney Catholic Schools hold the phone
Student mobile phone use will be banned across 80 Western Sydney Catholic schools from the beginning of the 2026 school year. The restriction presents a positive opportunity to enhance student outcomes, both in academic excellence and wellbeing.

Today our school leaders, along with Mrs Reilly, proudly represented our school community at the Parramatta RSL Sub-Branch Remembrance Day Service. They laid a wreath on behalf of all of us to honour and pay their respects to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. ๐บ Lest we forget.

๐ฅ Year 4 Excursion to Lizard Log! ๐งฒ As part of our Science unit on โForcesโ, our Year 4 students had an exciting day of hands-on learning at Lizard Log, Western Sydney Parklands! Students were captivated by fun science presentations, watched their classmates dress up in real safety gear, and took part in interactive experiments to explore the power of forces in action. ๐ Year 3 Excursion to Watsons Bay! ๐ As part of our Science unit on โThe Earthโ, our Year 3 students enjoyed an exciting and hands-on day exploring the beautiful landscapes of Watsons Bay. Students investigated the types and causes of erosion, discovered how human activities can affect our natural environments, and discussed ways we can care for and protect our landforms. Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the โChristine Howe STEM Academic Scholarshipโ, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). ๐ Mark Taylor Shield โ Round 2 ๐ Last week, some of our Stage 2 and Stage 3 boys represented St Anthonyโs in the second round of the Mark Taylor Shield against Holy Cross Glenwood. ๐ Faith in Action Across the World ๐ This afternoon, our FIAT Team had the wonderful opportunity to meet with members of the Sisters of Mercy and representatives from Mercy Works from Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, and Timor-Leste. Together, we shared how Faith in Action is making a difference in communities across the globe. This special meeting coincides with Mercy Works' 25th Anniversary โ celebrating 25 years of walking alongside vulnerable communities to create lasting change. Since 2000, Mercy Works has partnered with grassroots organisations throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific to foster capacity, dignity, and self-reliance, with a special focus on empowering women and children. ๐ We are proud to continue the Mercy story and to be part of this global mission of compassion and service.
