Some of our fantastic students volunteer themselves to the amazing called Mini Vinnies.
As part of the Mini Vinnies, they have been working on a project called the group Buddy Bench. The Buddy Bench is where people can sit together and have a conversation.
This meaning behind the Buddy Bench is that a conversation can change anything. This was inspired by staff and students being more aware of a person well being and how positive and negative things can impact that individual.
Our school's Biddy bench has now been completed and is a good reminder of how we can spread the awareness of all forms of wellbeing as well as how the beauty of friendship can help a lot more than we think.

Students participated in a prayer service π led by Faith in Action students and Fr Joby. Catholics believe that Mary was taken up into heaven by God β¨, not just her soul, but her whole body too, because she was so pure and full of grace π. We learnt how Mary is a model of: πΈ M β Mary is the Mother of Jesus πΆ β and also our spiritual Mother. π A β Act with Mercy. Mary was kind and gentle to everyone π€. πΏ R β Rosary. When we pray the Rosary, we think about the special moments in Jesusβ life βοΈ and remember Maryβs love β€οΈ. π Y β Mary said βYes!β to God π.

βοΈ St Anthonyβs girls participated in the NSW Girls Teams Chess Challenge! βοΈπ§β¨ The girls competed in teams of three against other school teams.π They had lots of fun ππ and learnt new skills and chess moves. π§ π‘ There were two divisions: Rookies (K-4) π£ and Primary (5-6). π π Congratulations to the Year 2 team who came π₯ in the rookie division! π Well done to all the girls who attended ππ. Our St Anthonyβs STEM Stars! ππ¬ Today, a group of our talented St Anthonyβs students attended the STEM MAD event, where they proudly showcased their incredible learning to schools from across the diocese. They were so well-prepared, confident, and presented beautifully β we couldnβt be prouder! πβ¨ After their presentations, the students enjoyed exploring exciting science shows and hands-on activities. This wonderful day also continues our celebration of National Science Week, which launched yesterday.
