This morning, our St Anthony’s Catholic community gathered in a liturgy to celebrate the Feast of our patron saint, St Anthony. Guided by his enduring words — “Let your words teach and your actions speak” — we reflected on how his legacy continues to inspire compassion, service, and unity in our world. We took a moment to acknowledge the many St Anthony’s schools and parishes across the globe, each one reaching out to their own communities in unique and meaningful ways. Through shared faith and purpose, we are all deeply connected — a reminder that belonging isn’t just a feeling, but something we create together through our actions. 💙 #StAnthonysFeastDay #FaithInAction #GlobalCommunity #StAnthonysPrimary #CatholicIdentity

“Let us sing as we go. May our struggles and our concern for this planet never take away the joy of our hope.” Laudato Si’ 244 Today, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the encyclical Laudato Si', the text with which Pope Francis called humanity to care for the common home, interweaving ecology, social justice and spirituality. The theme for 2025 is "Raising Hope" which links with the 2025 Jubilee Year theme, "Pilgrims of Hope". We pray to Mary, Help of Christians, Patroness of Australia, to give strength to those being impacted by the floods.

📚✨ St Anthony’s Joins Millions for National Simultaneous Storytime 2025! ✨📚 Today, our students at St Anthony’s proudly joined over one million children across Australia and the globe in reading The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell. This heartwarming story of Tinka the cat and Yacoub the truck driver celebrates themes of belonging, kindness, and finding home in unexpected places. This year marks the 25th anniversary of National Simultaneous Storytime, an initiative by the Australian Library and Information Association (@ALIANational), bringing together more than 9,000 locations worldwide—including schools, libraries, and homes—to promote literacy and the joy of shared reading. We’re thrilled to be part of this incredible movement that connects communities through storytelling. A big thank you to @ALIANational for organizing this inspiring event! #NSS2025 #TheTruckCat #StAnthonysReads #NationalSimultaneousStorytime #ALIANational #LoveOfReading #LiteracyMatters #SharedStories

A big thank you to some of our Faith in Action Team (FIAT) who used what they have learned about symbols on Sacred spaces to set up a prayerful space for the Year 6 leadership day. Year 6 appreciated your creativity and thought and helped them reflect on how we can do God's work as a leader. Well done team!
